Story Behind the Art

"Never Let Go #2" was created to bring peace to the heart and quiet strength to the soul. I wanted to show the moment when a lamb, once lost and trembling, is finally safe in the arms of the Good Shepherd. There’s no fear in His arms. There is only calm, comfort, and complete trust. It says that even in our most anxious moments, Jesus is holding us close.

One of my favorite things about this piece is the way the lamb leans into the Savior’s chest. You can feel the stillness in that moment, like the world has paused just long enough for this small, sacred connection. It represents the way the Lord feels about each of us as we are individually loved, found, and known. No matter how far we wander, He never stops watching the horizon for our return.

This piece came from a place in my heart that knows what it feels like to worry, to hope, and to pray for peace. I’ve had seasons where I needed to hear that I didn’t have to have all the answers.
